Oboe Duo Agosto will be the guest ensemble for the 2014 Women Composers Festival of Hartford, along with Sylvanus Ensemble and guest composer, Andrea Clearfield. The festival will run from March 6 to March 9, at the Charter Oak Cultural Center in Hartford.

The festival has also announced its 2014 International Composition Competition and Score Calls to all female composers. Humbert Lucarelli, hailed by The New York Times as “America’s leading oboe recitalist”, will be the guest adjudicator.
