Here’s what’s happening for the coming weeks…

Come join Ling-Fei and guitarist Yovianna García on the New Haven Green this Saturday, June 23 at 4 PM, as part of the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. We will take you on a trip with music from Taiwan, Brazil, Argentina and Puerto Rico!

On Monday, July 9 at 12:30 PM, Charles will be presenting his new transcription of Brahms’ Violin Sonata No. 2 for Oboe and Piano, at the 2012 IDRS conference at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Assisting Charles will be oboist Heather Baxter and pianist Jed Moss.

Later in July, the two of us will meet in Brazil for the XIV Festival Eleazar de Carvalho. This year marks the centennial anniversary of Maestro Eleazar de Carvalho. We look forward to celebrating this special occasion by making music with our wonderful colleagues, students and friends in beautiful Fortaleza.
